“Warm Hearts: a drive for new blankets and towels to gift the poor on Valentine’s Day” is in its third year as an ecumenical ministry of the SCL Associates of Helena, Mont. This includes SCL Associates (left to right in photo) Bobby Lavinder, Marion Johnson and Linda McCray.

Donated new blankets, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths will be distributed through organizations serving persons who are poor in Helena — Willis Cruse House, Family Promise, God’s Love, Florence Crittenton Home, Good Samaritan Ministries, Rocky Mountain Development Center, The Friendship Center and YWCA.

The drive is running now through Feb. 2. If you are in the Helena area, you can drop off donations at Cathedral of St. Helena, Churches of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2), Covenant United Methodist, First Lutheran Church, First Presbyterian Church, Headwaters Covenant, Our Lady of the Valley, SS Cyril & Methodius, St. Peter’s Episcopal Cathedral, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Saint Mary Catholic Community, St. Paul’s Methodist and Mirror Mirror Salon and Spa. The box at the Cathedral of St. Helena is located outside of the parish office. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
