Searchable histories online

Four histories of the SCL Community are now digitized and available for reading under the About Us tab in the navigation bar of the website and under the History section (and by clicking the links below). Digitization of the four books also makes possible the feature of searching the content for specific names or topics.

The four books include:

History of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, Kansas by Sister Mary Buckner, SCL

Come North by Sister Julia Gilmore, SCL

We Came North by Sister Julia Gilmore, SCL

We Heard the Call by Sister Rose Dolores Hoffelmeyer, SCL

Emerging Frontiers by Sister Marie Brinkman, SCL

Thank you to Tonya Crawford, archivist for the SCL Community, who coordinated this digitization project.
