Dog run named for SCL

Sister Roberta Furey embraced life and loved life. She also loved Mount Saint Vincent (MSV), Denver, where she served for 48 years, and she loved dogs. Sister Roberta died on May 28, 2018.

On Friday, June 21, MSV will recognize her by naming the dog run at the facility in her memory and honor. The dedication ceremony is set for 11 a.m.

MSV is a residential and day treatment facility that serves youth with emotional and behavioral health concerns. It was previously an orphanage and a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth.
