Celebrating Community During Nursing Home Week

From May 10–16, 2026, Ross Hall celebrated Nursing Home Week with activities recognizing the Sisters and staff who make the Ross Hall community a special place to live and work.

Throughout the week, residents enjoyed a variety of events and opportunities to spend time together, including a mindfulness scavenger hunt, kindness notes, trivia and caramel corn, dirty sodas hosted by Catholic Community Health, and a visit with goats at the fishpond. Additional activities were held throughout the week, giving residents and staff time to relax, laugh, and enjoy one another’s company.

Nursing Home Week provided an opportunity to celebrate daily life at Ross Hall and recognize the care and relationships shared by Sisters and staff each day.

Sisters and staff enjoyed a beautiful day outside with a Mindfulness Scavenger Hunt.
Sisters wrote meaningful notes to the Ross Hall staff.
They participated in riveting trivia games, accompanied by delicious caramel corn!
Catholic Community Health hosted an afternoon of dirty sodas. They were so good!

And we can’t forget the GOATS!
