Sweet Treats and Community Spirit on the SCL Campus

The Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Mission Team hosted a lively Trunk or Treat on the Mother House campus on Friday, October 24, welcoming families, friends, and little candy collectors for an evening of fun and fellowship.

Colorful trunks and cheerful decorations lined the parking lot as Sisters and staff greeted trick-or-treaters with warm smiles and generous handfuls of candy. The event created a joyful atmosphere, with laughter and conversation filling the crisp (and drizzly) autumn air—a true reflection of the Sisters’ spirit of hospitality and community.

Events like this remind us that simple acts of kindness—sharing time, candy, and joy—can make lasting memories and strengthen the bonds that connect us all.
