About the artist:
I like to do useful projects like placemats, pillowcases, and table runners. I find it to be a restful, relaxing art. These were done in hopeful anticipation of working on the pollinator gardens on the Mother House campus.

About the artwork:
This is a pandemic project done while I was living at the farm. It’s the old art of embroidery my mother taught us when there was a polio epidemic and we had quiet rest time in the hot afternoons out at our farm. These pieces were done in hopeful anticipation of working on the pollinator gardens on the Mother House campus.
