Office of Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation
Join Us in Our Pursuit of Justice for All, Peace in the World, and the Preservation of Our Shared Home
The JPIC Office was created to continue the legacy of justice and advocacy championed by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth (SCLs). Inspired by the pioneering spirit of our Sisters, we honor the foundation they built.
Our work goes beyond addressing issues—it’s about fostering meaningful change. We collaborate with Sisters and lay people to take action, lead with compassion, and champion initiatives that reflect the values and identity of the SCL Community.
While we recognize that the world’s challenges today are many, we focus on critical issues where our resources can make a real difference. We strive to create a world rooted in justice, peace, and care for all creation.
Our Team
“The greatest challenge of the day is: how to bring about a revolution of the heart, a revolution which has to start with each one of us? When we begin to take the lowest place, to wash the feet of others, to love our brothers (and sisters) with that burning love, that passion, which led to the Cross, then we can truly say, 'Now I have begun.’”
Dorothy Day
