About the artist:
Joanne Bodner, Ed.D, is a Professor Emerita at Johnson County Community College and an SCLA. She has authored two non-fiction books and a screenplay. She writes poetry as a way of understanding conflicts. Joanne was raised in Kansas City, MO, but is a committed KS Jayhawk.
About the artwork:
We are children of God, and so we are complicit somehow in creating our divided world. Through love and charity, we must find a different way to heal our divisions and live in peace.
