Billings Catholic Schools Celebrate SCLs During Catholic Schools Week

On January 29, 2025, the Billings Catholic Schools celebrated Catholic Schools Week at Mass. The Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth were honored for bringing Catholic education to Billings in the early 1900s and teaching and administering in Catholic schools through 2002. Sisters Eileen Hurley, Bernadette Helfert, Mary Agnes Hogan, and Katherin Franchett were proud to represent all our sisters who have been teachers in Billings Catholic schools. Each received a picture of “The Jesus of Billings Central.”

After Mass, Sisters Bernadette, Mary Agnes, and Katherine visit with Bishop Jeff Fleming, and far right, Sister Eileen visits with Stella Ziegler.
