A Gift of Comfort This Season

During their Wellness Christmas celebration, Mother House Sisters gathered for a simple yet meaningful act of service, creating beautiful, cozy tie blankets for those in need of comfort during difficult moments. Made by hand and carefully knotted with intention, these blankets will be donated to the Leavenworth Police Department to be shared with individuals facing stressful or traumatic situations.

Each blanket represents more than warmth; it offers compassion, presence, and reassurance in moments of uncertainty. Through this thoughtful gesture, the Sisters extend care and dignity beyond their walls, responding to real needs within the wider community.

Together, the Sisters’ collaborative spirit and quiet generosity reflect the heart of the Christmas season-love made tangible through simple acts of kindness.
