Easter is a season of profound transformation, rooted in the promise that “if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Sister Loretto Marie Colwell, 86, a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth (SCL) for 67 years, died on April 17, 2026.

“Nothing beats love,” said “Daddy” Bruce Randolph, a Denver, Colorado restaurateur who, in 1964, closed his restaurant for Thanksgiving so he could cook a meal for anyone in need.

A new update from Verdis Group highlights the progress being made toward a more sustainable future. From early visioning conversations to identifying risks and shaping a Net Zero Pathway, this collaborative effort continues to take meaningful steps forward.

After the resurrection of Christ, we Christians are no longer afforded the excuse of fear as a reason for inaction.
