“‘Come Follow Me’ — The Jesus Who Calls Us in the Matthean Gospel” will be the theme of the May 28 to June 4 retreat facilitated by Sister Wendy Cotter at Marillac Center, the retreat and spirituality center of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth. Sister Wendy is a Sister of Saint Joseph from London, Ontario, Canada.

Sister Wendy will focus on Matthew’s “speeches of Jesus” created from collections of Jesus’ discipleship teachings in response to his followers. The lesson taught is to live a life of holiness and perfect love and to share that love with everyone. 

Recently retired as professor of Scripture in the theology department of Loyola University, Chicago, Sister Wendy has specialization in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. She has authored two books. 

Retreat fee, room and board is $70 per day; $420 for the 6-day retreat. A $50 deposit will reserve your space for this retreat.
