Two alumni of Immaculata High School, Leavenworth, have published a history of the diocesan educational institution staffed by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth through much of its history. Mary Ann Sachse Brown (’66) and Marti (aka Martha Jane) Sachse Judson (‘68) are sisters who collaborated on the project. They began gathering materials and doing research in 2017; they published the hard cover book in May 2019. The SCL Archives provided resources as available.

The authors self-published through Lulu, a print-on-demand company, thus allowing interested persons to order copies directly. Both color and black and white versions are offered at the publisher’s cost; color copy is $34.99, black and white, $15.99. The more copies ordered at one time reduce the mailing costs. Allow a couple of weeks for printing and shipping. Click here for more information.
