Date:
Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with three brief presentations and ample time for prayer and reflection.
Location:
Ross Chapel
Theme Description:
During this Lenten Day of Reflection, the Stations of the Cross will provide the context for presentations and quiet prayer as we “walk the holy path to Calvary” with Jesus. Our journey will focus on Jesus as suffering servant; his three falls; those he encountered along the way (and those who were absent); and the salvific turn toward Resurrection. Participants will receive a printed prayer booklet.
Facilitator:
Therese Horvat, SCLA, is honored to explore the rich Catholic tradition of the Stations of the Cross and share some unique perspectives during this Lenten Day of Reflection. Therese has a long association with the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth through her health and communication ministries. She continues to do freelance writing in her semi-retirement.
Cost:
No cost of SCLs or SCLAs, but those wishing the noon meal are asked to pay $10.
Non SCLs or SCLAs are asked to pay $25 for the day, plus $10 for lunch.
Scholarships are available.
