SUMMARY:
Ponder the sacramental richness of mixing, baking and sharing bread during this time of reflection and prayer. Participants will experience the process of bread-making from the grain and leaven, the kneading and rising, to the shaping and baking, and then the sharing and invitation to be “eucharist” for one another. For this retreat, the group will make cinnamon rolls. The day will include with a simple lunch of bread and soup.
