Women interested in
becoming Sisters of Charity are involved in a process of formation that
includes instruction, guidance, prayer, work and active involvement with
other Sisters through community living.
Currently, there are
eight women involved in the formation process with the Sisters of Charity
of Leavenworth, both in the United States and Peru.

Canonical Novice.
S. Rejane is
originally from Prairie Village, KS. She lived at our Xavier
House in Kansas City, KS before entering our community. The
Xavier House, while not designed specifically for women
interested in religious life, offers young women an opportunity
to experience intentional community living with Sisters and
other young women. Rejane’s education included a Bachelors in
Anthropology and Theology, and a Masters in Curriculum
Development. She taught for four years at TA Edison in Kansas
City before entering.
