The Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth are members of the Sisters of Charity Federation which has a non-governmental organization (NGO) to promote education and advocacy on issues of U.N. peace and justice.  NGO August 2018 newsletter

NETWORK is a Catholic social justice lobby in Washington, D.C. of which the SCL Community and individual Sisters are members. This site provides an opportunity for individuals to contact Congressional leaders directly. 

Sojourners is a Christian ministry based in Washington, D.C., whose mission is to practice the biblical call to integrate spiritual renewal and social justice.
