At Xavier Community

Xavier Community is an intentional community of Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth for the purpose of introducing young women to the spiritual benefits of this lifestyle. The Xavier House experience provides the opportunity for participants to deepen their personal spiritual lives through common prayer and faith sharing; to live a simple lifestyle; to pursue their interests in global and social awareness; and to build relationships with other members of the community.

The Xavier Community is open to young women, who are at least 20 years of age. Interested persons should connect with a Sister who currently lives at the Xavier House and arrange an interview. The person must be able to support herself, have health insurance, share in the house’s expenses and household responsibilities, and make a one- to two-year commitment to the Xavier Community.
